Bodylastics USA Inc. ("Bodylastics," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Scope

This policy applies to everything we operate, including:

Our online store at bodylastics.com, where we sell resistance bands, equipment, and accessories
Our membership site at workouts.bodylastics.com, where we deliver workout programs and community features
Our mobile applications for iOS and Android
Our email, SMS, and customer support communications

We refer to all of these together as the "Services." Where a section applies only to one part of the Services, we say so.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

Contact details: name, email address, mailing and shipping address, phone number
Account information: username, password, profile details, and communication preferences
Order information: items purchased, shipping details, order history, returns and exchanges
Payment information: payment card details and billing address. These are collected and processed by our payment providers, not stored on our own systems
Content you submit: community posts, comments, reviews, workout notes, and messages you send to our support team

Information we collect automatically

Device information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and language settings
Usage information: pages viewed, products browsed, items added to cart, links clicked, and how you interact with the Services
Workout activity: which workouts you start, complete, save, or mark as favorites, and your progress through programs
Cookies and similar technologies: described in Section 8

Information from other sources

We may receive information from our platform providers, payment processors, shipping carriers, and marketing partners, and we combine it with information we already hold about you.

3. Mobile Applications

This section describes practices specific to the Bodylastics mobile apps.

What the app collects. When you use the app we collect your account information, device identifiers, app version and operating system, crash and diagnostic data, and your workout viewing and progress history. If you enable push notifications, we collect a push notification token that lets us send messages to your device.

Push notifications. We use push notifications to tell you about new workouts, programs, and account updates. You can turn them off at any time in your device settings. On iOS, go to Settings, then Notifications, then Bodylastics. On Android, go to Settings, then Apps, then Bodylastics, then Notifications. Turning them off does not affect your access to the app.

Subscriptions purchased in the app. Subscriptions bought inside the app are processed by Apple or Google, not by us. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active along with its renewal status, but we do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies govern how they handle that transaction. You can manage or cancel an app subscription in your Apple Account or Google Play account settings.

What the app does not do. The app does not collect your precise location, does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera unless you explicitly grant permission for a specific feature, and does not track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes.

Deleting your app account. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at help@bodylastics.com. See Section 12.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

Create and manage your account and deliver the Services you have signed up for
Process orders, payments, shipping, returns, and exchanges
Provide access to workout content and track your progress
Send transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping updates, and account notices
Send marketing communications where you have opted in, and push notifications where you have enabled them
Respond to your questions and provide customer support
Personalize what we show you, including recommended workouts and products
Measure and improve the Services, diagnose technical problems, and develop new features
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms

5. Payments

Payments made on our store are processed by our payment providers, including Shopify Payments, Stripe, and PayPal. Payments for memberships and subscriptions purchased on the web are processed by Stripe or PayPal through our membership platform. Payments for subscriptions purchased inside the mobile apps are processed by Apple or Google.

We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. Each of these providers handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share personal information with:

Service providers who work on our behalf, including website and app hosting, payment processing, order fulfillment and shipping, email delivery, analytics, customer support tools, and data storage. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
Platform providers that operate parts of our Services. Our store runs on Shopify. Our membership site and mobile apps run on Kajabi. App subscriptions are handled by Apple and Google.
Professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors, where necessary.
Law enforcement or government authorities, where we are legally required to do so, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We will notify you if your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

7. Community Features

Our membership site includes community features. Anything you post publicly, including posts, comments, replies, your display name and profile photo, is visible to other members. Please do not share information in community areas that you would not want other members to see. We may remove content that violates our terms.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and preferences, understand how the Services are used, and measure the performance of our marketing.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Services work. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals as a valid opt-out request.

9. Your Communication Choices

Marketing email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us. You will still receive transactional messages about your orders and account.
Push notifications: turn these off in your device settings at any time.
SMS, where offered: reply STOP to opt out.
Account preferences: update your details and preferences by signing in to your account.

10. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or anonymize it. Order records are typically retained for the period required by applicable tax and consumer protection law.

11. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who on our team can view your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

12. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access or know what personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate personal information
Delete your personal information
Portability, meaning you can receive a copy of your information in a portable format or have it transferred
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising
Withdraw consent where we rely on consent to process your information
Appeal a decision we make about a privacy request
Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights

To make a request, email help@bodylastics.com or write to us at the address in Section 17. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.

13. Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

14. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Members under 18 should use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

15. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and our service providers may be located in other countries. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

16. Third-Party Websites and Changes to This Policy

The Services may contain links to sites we do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as by email or an in-app message. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
